Prince Abbas
The
Movenpick M/S Prince Abbas was awarded the “BestFloating
Vessel on Lake Nasser” in
2007 by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism.
This
Deluxe Five Star Lake Nasser Cruiser features 43 spacious and well-appointed
standard cabins measuring approximately 225 square feet, 18 junior
suites measuring approximately 325 square feet and 4 royal suites measuring
approximately 430 square feet. All cabins have an en-suite shower and
individually controlled air-conditioning and a choice of one double
or two twin beds.
Cabin facilities include hairdryer,
television, internal telephone, safe deposit box, and a mini-bar. Each
cabin has comfortable seating and panoramic windows. Royal suites are
additionally equipped with DVD player and large living room area, which
enables them to be used for triple occupancy. 24 hour reception and
a souvenir shop are located on the main deck. Laundry and room service
is also available. All cabins aboard the Movenpick M/S Prince Abbas
are nonsmoking cabins.
The Movenpick M/S Prince Abbas prides
itself on the quality of imaginative gastronomy and the expansive stylish
restaurants offer fine dining in the true tradition. The main restaurant,
the Robaeyat, is located below the main deck, accommodating up to 140
people on tables of six or
eight. International cuisine and local specialties
are prepared by the chef from the freshest ingredients. A spacious
Oriental lounge/Royal lounge bar is situated on the salon deck with
a shaded canopied area. One of the most popular outlets on the Prince
Abbas, with a comfortable capacity for 140 people, the lounge has been
specifically designed as the perfect venue for afternoon tea, cocktails
or digestives as well as dancing and entertainment in the evening.
On the bridge deck, the greenery room is ideal for small group breakfast,
while the sun deck serves coffee, tea, refreshing drinks and a variety
of snacks.
The sun deck of the Prince Abbas offers
a refreshing plunge pool and a whirlpool, chaise lounges for sun worshippers,
a shaded seating area as well as a bar. A large library can be found
on the bridge deck where you can enjoy a good book in a peaceful atmosphere
or simply admire the magnificent scenery. There is also a gymnasium
on board.

Day 1: (Friday) Staff will meet you at your hotel
in Abu Simbel or the Abu Simbel airport for transfer to your Deluxe
Five Star Lake Nasser Cruiser, the Prince Abbas. Lunch on board.
Visit the famous temples of Ramses at Abu Simbel. A welcome cocktail will be served. OPTIONAL
Sound & Light show at Temples (non-compulsory, ticket not included)
followed by a candlelight dinner on board. (L, D)
Day 2: (Saturday) Those who would like to watch the spectacular
sunrise at Abu Simbel may enjoy an early morning visit to the temples
(entrance ticket is not included). Breakfast is served while sailing
to Kasr Ibrim. Arrival at Kasr Ibrim. Tour conducted from the ship’s
sun deck as entrance to the site is not permitted. Lunch served while
sailing to Amada. Visit the Temples of Amada and
Derr as
well as the tomb of Penout, A relaxing afternoon sail to Wadi El
Seboua. Dinner on board (B, L, D)
Day 3: (Sunday) Morning visit to Wadi El Seboua,
the Temples of Dakka,
and Meharakka. Lunch on board. Sail to Aswan while dining and overnight

Day 4: (Monday) Visit the Kalabsha
Temple, Beit
El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi. Disembarkation after breakfast.

Embarks weekly on Monday
Day 1: (Monday) Staff will meet you at your hotel,
the airport or train station for transfer to the cruise. Arrival in
Aswan to board your Deluxe Five Star Lake Nasser Cruiser, the Prince
Abbas. Check in for lunch on board. Afternoon tea with dinner in the evening. Overnight
in Aswan Harbor. (L, D)
Day 2: (Tuesday) Breakfast
on board then visit the Kalabsha Temples including Beit
El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi. Return to the ship and
sail to Wadi El Seboua while having lunch. Afternoon tea while
passing the Tropic of Cancer. Dinner on board. Overnight
Wadi El Seboua. (B, L, D)
Day 3: (Wednesday)
Breakfast on board followed by a morning visit to Wadi El Seboua, the
Temple of Dakka, and Temple of Meharakka. Lunch on board while sailing
to Amada. Visit the Temples of Amada and
of Derr,
as well as the tomb of Penout. Dinner and overnight on board at Amada.

visit to the Abu Simbel Temples to watch the sunrise (entrance ticket
