1st Day	PM	Cairo :: Arrival and Check-in at hotel. :: Your room will be prepared ready for your arrival where you may freshen up before retiring to bed or spend a little time exploring your locality (depending upon timing of flights and your arrival).
2nd Day	AM	Giza Plateau :: Pyramids of Khufu, Khafra and Menkaura. :: The Great Sphinx and the Sphinx and Valley Temple of Khafra. :: Tombs of the Nobles.
	PM	Egyptian Museum - Cairo :: Visit to the Egyptian Museum - A guided tour of the museum that leads you through the wealth of treasures from the Old, Middle and New kingdoms and where you will discover for yourself the treasures of Tutankhamen. :: There will be opportunities to buy souveniers and works of art throughout the day.  :: Evening - Enjoy a romantic dinner for two in the rotating restaurant of the Cairo Tower.
3rd Day	AM	:: Morning visit to Sakkara and the Stepped Pyramid Complex of Djoser. :: The Tombs of the Nobles - Merreruka.
	PM	:: Afternoon Free - at leisure :: Opportunity to take part in an optional excursion. :: Evening - Enjoy dinner for two onboard a luxory Nile Cruise Ship.
4th Day	AM	Luxor :: Visit to Karnak Temple - watch the sunrise (depending on time of arrival) over this vast temple complex before beginning your guided tour. :: Check-in at Hotel.
	PM	:: Free afternoon for rest or to take part in one of the many optional excursions. :: Evening visit to Luxor Temple and a local market. :: Overnight in Luxor.
5th Day	AM	West Bank :: Visit to the Valley of the Kings. :: The Colossi of Memnon. :: The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut.
	PM	:: Afternoon Free - at leisure. :: Opportunity to take part in one of the optional excursions. :: Overnight in Luxor.
6th Day	AM	:: Morning Free - at leisure. :: Opportunity to take part in one of the optional excursions. :: (optional - take a dawn flight in a hot-air ballon over the West Bank and Valley of the Kings.)
	PM	:: Afternoon Free - at leisure. :: Opportunity to take part in one of the optional excursions. :: Evening - Relax as you watch the sunset from the deck of a felucca as you enjoy the tranquility of the moment.
7th Day	AM	:: Morning - at leisure :: :: Late morning - join convoy or transfer to airport for journey to Red Sea Resort.
	PM	:: Arrival at Red Sea Resort - Check-in to Resort.
8th Day	AM	Red Sea :: Morning - at leisure :: Take it easy by the sea or round the hotel pool. :: An opportunity to take part in one of the optional excursions. :: (optional-take part in a Red Sea snorkelling adventure. Take a boat ride in the Red Sea where a hot lunch will be served and you can snorkel and swim in this wonderful location that is teeming with sea life).
	PM	:: Afternoon - at leisure :: An opportunity to take part in one of the optional excursions. :: (optional-take an exciting five hour quad-bike safari into the Eastern Desert and enjoy a Bedouin barbeque and a camel ride).
9th Day	AM	:: Morning - at leisure :: Take it easy by the sea or round the hotel pool. :: An opportunity to take part in one of the optional excursions.
	PM	:: Afternoon - at leisure :: An opportunity to take part in one of the optional excursions.

NB. Prices are per person based on two adults sharing a twin or double room and include all flights, accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis, transfers and transport in Egypt, entrance fees to museums and sites of antiquities and visits as listed in the itinerary and the services of a tour guide and Egyptologist, but are subject to small price fluctuations in airport tax and fuel surcharges as applied by the airlines at the time of booking and differences in cost of flights from your chosen UK airport. From time to time it may be necessary to change the order of the itinerary due to flight times and train timetables, etc. - we do, however, endeavour to keep any changes to a minimum.
