1st Day	PM	Cairo :: Arrival and Check-in at hotel. :: Your room will be prepared ready for your arrival where you may freshen up before retiring to bed or spend a little time exploring your locality (depending upon timing of flights and your arrival).
2nd Day	AM	:: Enjoy a leisurely morning in your hotel and surrounding area where you will have time to prepare for your first visit. Giza Plateau :: Pyramids of Khufu, Khafra and Menkaura. :: The Great Sphinx and the Sphinx and Valley Temple of Khafra. :: Tombs of the Nobles.
	PM	Egyptian Museum - Cairo :: Visit to the Egyptian Museum - A guided tour of the museum that leads you through the wealth of treasures from the Old, Middle and New kingdoms and where you will discover for yourself the treasures of Tutankhamen. :: There will be opportunities to buy souveniers and works of art throughout the day.
3rd Day	AM	:: Morning Free - at leisure :: Opportunity to take part in an optional excursion.
	PM	:: Afternoon Free - at leisure :: Opportunity to take part in an optional excursion.
4th Day	AM	Islamic Cairo :: With the assistance of your guide, explore The Citadel - Stronghold of Saladin and the Mosque of Mohamed Ali.
	PM	City Tour :: Sit back and enjoy a tour of the busy Cairo metropolis. As your driver skillfully negotiates the busy Cairo traffic, your guide will provide you with a wealth of information on the places of interest, both ancient and modern. :: Evening - Board train for overnight journey to Luxor.
5th Day	AM	Luxor :: Embarkation before Lunch
	PM	:: Day at Leisure :: Overnight in Luxor.
6th Day	AM	Luxor / Esna :: Cross to West Bank. Visit the Valley of Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari and Colossi of Memnon.
	PM	:: Sail to Esna & Cross the Lock :: Captain’s Cocktail Reception. :: Sail to Edfu & Overnight.
7th Day	AM	Edfu / Kom Ombo / Aswan :: Visit the Temple of Horus, one of the most complete pieces of architecture in Egypt dedicated to the Egyptian god Horus son of Osiris.
	PM	:: Sail to Kom Ombo & continue to Aswan. :: Oriental Galabaia Party. :: Overnight in Aswan.
8th Day	AM	Aswan :: Visit the Temple dedicated to Isis on Philea Island then visit High Dam passing by the Old Dam of Aswan.
	PM	:: Free at leisure. :: Overnight in Aswan.
9th Day	AM	Aswan / Kom Ombo / Edfu :: View of the Elephantine Island, the Botanical Gardens, and the Agha Khan Mausoleum by Felucca.
	PM	:: Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple shared by the two Gods; Sobek and Horus. :: Continue sailing to Edfu. :: Overnight in Edfu.
10th Day	AM	Edfu / Esna / Luxor :: Sail to Esna, Cross the Lock and continue to Luxor.
	PM	:: Belly Dancer or Nubian Show. :: Arrive to Luxor & overnight.
11th Day	AM	Luxor :: Visit Karnak and Luxor Temples.
	PM	:: Free at Leisure. :: Overnight in Luxor.
12th Day	AM	:: Disembarkation after Breakfast. :: Check-in to Hotel
	PM	:: Afternoon Free - at leisure. :: Opportunity for buying souveniers and shopping for bargains.
13th Day	AM	:: Morning Free - at leisure. :: Opportunity to take part in one of the optional excursions. :: (optional - take a dawn flight in a hot-air ballon over the West Bank and Valley of the Kings.)
	PM	:: Afternoon - at leisure :: Opportunity to take part in one of the optional excursions.
14th Day	AM	:: Check-out of Hotel :: Board Train (1st Class Coach) for return journey to Cairo. Enjoy the timeless scenes as you recline in the luxury seats and watch the Egyptian Countryside roll by.
	PM	Cairo :: Arrival at Cairo :: Airport and onward journey home.

Prices are per person based on two adults sharing a twin or double room and include all flights, accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis, transfers and transport in Egypt, entrance fees to museums and sites of antiquities and visits as listed in the itinerary and the services of a tour guide and Egyptologist, but are subject to small price fluctuations in airport tax and fuel surcharges as applied by the airlines at the time of booking and differences in cost of flights from your chosen UK airport. From time to time it may be necessary to change the order of the itinerary due to flight times and train timetables, etc. - we do, however, endeavour to keep any changes to a minimum.
